Be The Ripple and Working Out Loud
Be The Ripple is determined to create a ripple effect of kindness across organisations, in a collaborative and inclusive way, we not only want to share fantastic resources for free with you, but we also want to create collaborative spaces, so you can come together and develop a kind culture and take it back into your organisations.
With this in mind, we’ve decided to run the Working out Loud program by John Stepper.

“Working Out Loud is a tried and tested way to build relationships that help you achieve a goal, develop a skill, or explore a new topic. Instead of networking to get something, you invest in relationships by making contributions over time, including your work and experiences that you make visible.”
John Stepper

The first week is a kick-off week to explain how the program will run and introduce yourselves, the programme itself takes 12 weeks.

Background
One of our founding members, Jen Sullivan, completed a WOL Circle in mid 2020 and loved the process. She came across the invitation to join a circle from Simon Fogg and Rebekka Manos on social media and had this to say:
Not only did I achieve my goal of setting up a website I became a part of a fantastic group, affectionately called 'the Woolies', from across Europe. In the midst of the pandemic when everything became uncertain and it would have been easy to give up, we became a support network and each other’s rocks it was great to be able to work together, collaborate, laugh and carry on developing. It was also a massive honour to work with such a great group, we had Microsoft Experts, Learning and Development experts, Coaches and a Doctor we were a diverse bunch that learnt a lot from each other.
After joining Be The Ripple, fresh off of this experience, Jen could immediately see how this recent, positive, supportive, kind experience could be used in a practical sense to support the community and influence real change in organisations.
We want to say a massive THANK YOU to Simon Fogg for his guidance and support in getting this process set up for Be The Ripple, we appreciate it hugely.
